early!
HOW: You will be helping in
the Children's Center at the event. Assignments
provided at that time. Please report at least 20-30 minutes
prior to your shift to review work assignments and
responsibilities. Mahalo!
REQUIREMENTS This is an outdoor community event. Volunteers should be able to
stand long periods of time (without sitting) and able to work with
large crowds and with various types of people. There is no guarantee the
choice you indicated above will be available at the time of event
day, and we ask your kokua and cooperation if your volunteer
location is not your first choice. Please report to the event
at least half-hour prior to your starting time, allowing ample time
to find parking (limited) and become familiar with the event
layout. For your safety and comfort,
please wear covered shoes, bring bottle(s) of water, hat/visor,
shades and sunscreen.
